With the launch of the Cold Plasma Wound Treatment Clinic at the Persian Gulf Martyrs Hospital in Bushehr, a new chapter in the rapid and painless treatment of patients has begun, promising to improve medical services based on modern technologies.
According to Radio Salamat Public Relations, the specialized Cold Plasma Wound Treatment Clinic at the Persian Gulf Martyrs Hospital in Bushehr was inaugurated in the presence of the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, and an important step was taken towards using nuclear knowledge to improve patients' health.
Hamtiyar, a wound expert at the Persian Gulf Martyrs Training and Medical Center, said on the "Greetings to Life" program: The cold plasma device is delicate and requires high precision to work with. This new technology disinfects wounds painlessly and significantly speeds up the healing process.
He added: "Cold plasma can greatly reduce the risk of infection by rapidly killing bacteria and act as an effective complement to other treatment methods. The energy required for these devices is also provided by nuclear power plants, which has created a new link between the knowledge of nuclear physics and modern medicine."
Bushehr patients are now waiting for insurance coverage for plasma-based wound treatment so that this innovative method can be made available to all patients.
