IPTV technology has created a significant transformation in the provision of medical, educational, and information services in medical centers by eliminating traditional infrastructures and utilizing digital networks.
According to the Public Relations Department of Radio Salamat, IPTV software, which was previously used in developed countries, has now been localized in Iran with the efforts of domestic experts and is used as an alternative to the central antenna in hospitals, hotels, and service organizations.
Eng. Hossein Heydari, CEO of Moj Afzar Mehran Company, announced the complete localization of this technology on the “Tasaria” program, saying: IPTV enables the transmission of image, sound, data, and multimedia services using network infrastructure and is considered a smart alternative to traditional television signal distribution systems.
He added: In medical centers, this technology not only replaces the central antenna, but also plays an effective role in educating patients before and after surgery, providing accurate information, and improving the quality of medical services. Also, by providing educational and entertainment content during hospitalization, patients' morale is strengthened and the treatment process is facilitated.
Referring to the economic benefits of this technology, Heydari said: Using the network platform to transmit services such as telephone, camera, iPhone, and television significantly reduces infrastructure and maintenance costs and brings significant added value to medical centers.
He announced: The IPTV software developed by Moj Afar Mehran Company, in addition to being widely used within the country, has also been exported to Armenia, Iraq, and Afghanistan. For a 200-bed hospital, using this technology can save between 500 million and one billion tomans in foreign exchange.
The CEO of Mojaffar Mehran emphasized: Localization of this technology has not only prevented dependence on foreign knowledge, but also provided the possibility of providing services tailored to domestic culture and needs, and has increased public acceptance.
Finally, he called on decision-making institutions to pave the way for sustainable growth and development in the fields of health and information technology by providing greater support for local technologies.
